Jacinta Scadden, filmmaker, was born and raised in rural Victoria, Australia. She won her first national film award at age fifteen - the prestigious Simpson Prize presented by the Prime Minister.
She completed her Bachelor of Performing & Screen Arts (Majoring in Directing & Writing for Screen & Theatre) in 2012. As well as Acting for Screen by NIDA in 2014. She is currently doing her Masters of Screenwriting at VCA.
Jacinta has written, directed and acted in numerous short films and plays. In 2014 she produced a feature length documentary 'The Letterbox Project' and has placed in film festivals for her shorts 'Down Under', 'What Do You See' and 'Lust In Translation'.
Jacinta is also an avid portrait photographer and musician.
